How To Deal With Moles And Gophers
Moles and gophers are an absolute nightmare for outdoor growers. The first step is identifying them which can be difficult since most of the time they are under ground.
Typically one would only notice them if they were either caught in the act attacking your plants or by following tracks they leave back to their holes. Once you have identified that one of the two culprits are the problem you can choose which path to deal with them.
One way includes using castor oil and a garlic water mixture. They find the smell and taste quite repulsive and will typically relocate on their own.
Spread this around your soil and it should send these rodents packing.
You may also set up traps to catch and release these critters somewhere else or even just get a cat to keep them away.
