Nutrient Plan For Cannabis

When thinking about adding nutrients to your plants it is important to understand that this part of the process is a lot of trial and error.

The reason is that many strains vary in how to optimally grow them. Most seedlings do not require nutrients and it is best to have the NPK ratios even.

You can use 10-10-10, 5-5-5, or 1-1-1 but in most cases it is best to use the 1-1-1. The only time you would typically use any other ratio is when you are working with difficult strains.

Some growers let the seedling stay in the seedling growing medium for a week to grow a bit before transplanting into the regular medium. If you are growing this way it is important to note that if you add nutrients to your plant at this stage you need to make some changes from what the bottle says.

For starters you want to use an ⅛ of what the instructions says and make sure that it is. You also have to make sure to dilute well otherwise the solution will be too strong for the seedling. Just like in people size determines a lot about how much a plant can handle.
